About this blog:
This blog is about girl stuff. all the “stuff” us girls get to deal with on a monthly and daily basis. Menstruation, hormones, if we like thongs or not, itchy bras, body issues, cat-calling, and judging other women for making different life choices. Being a girl is fun, ain’t it? It’s not all gloom and doom, I promise. Because there is so much good food to enjoy! I post a lot of recipes because due to my love of yummy food and my dislike of socks, I am often barefoot in the kitchen.
I used the term “girl” to cover females of all ages, and I use the term “boy” to cover males of all ages. “girls”, plural, is probably a reference to my boobs.
I am a 30-something living in the midwest. My husband and I got our first apartment together in 1999, and got married in 2005. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and cooking. I don’t mind cleaning the kitchen (because it’s usually my mess) or doing laundry (because I’m anal about how my stuff is folded), but I abhor all other kinds of housework. I have a very dry sense of humor, and am guilty of over using parentheses. I am terrified of spiders and when I find one in the house I make my husband kill it. I know he loves me, because he is afraid of spiders too, and he still kills them for me.
